Hello! My name is Shane Macomber, I'm a Seattle wedding Photographer based right here in Seattle Washington. You'll notice that I have photographed many Vail, Colorado weddings as well. My Wife and I lived there for the past seven years; it's where we fell in love. I love the Vail Valley; it holds a special place in my heart, and I still consider myself a Vail wedding photographer and shoot there often. I also travel for many destination weddings. I love seeing all the different cities and wedding venues that couples choose to express their personalities.

I am a creative wedding photographer whose approach stems from working many years as a photojournalist at a newspaper in Vail, CO. I enjoy telling a story with my photographs, one my clients will instantly relate with, filled with images that evoke the emotions of the bride and groom during that exact moment. I always hope this story will last years to come.

Being a photographer is simply who I am in this world. It's not just my career; it's everyhting to me—making photographs is my passion and the people I photograph are my inspiration. Sharing the visual story of my clients, who don't know just how incredible they are, is what I love to photograph most.

Meredith and Chris’s wedding day began at their first home—the home they just recently bought together. Their morning was spent stealing kisses in the hallway and hanging out with family while they prepared for the wedding. It was wonderful to photograph both of them in their new space, with their family and evidence of their day-to-day life in the mix. The familiar surroundings added a very special element.

They held a small wedding up the street at the Mt Baker Community Center. Meredith, Chris, their family and friends poured a lot of love into this wedding and made it very special.
