Our Honeymoon ~ San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

Lindsay and I decided to travel to a little 22-room hotel on the Baja Peninsula called the Cabo Surf Hotel. The hotel looks at “old mans break” a popular surf spot for all surfers. This served us well as I can’t sit still for longer than five minutes and Lindsay could lie on the beach for the rest of her life. And it figures she is the better surfer.

During the evening we would take short walks in the calm little city of San Jose Del Cabo. Kids, families, dogs were everywhere and I loved that about the town.

Here’s a few images from our walks.

I must save the best for last……to my lover, my very best friend, and now my wife Lindsay…..she is always doing something to make me smile.

Meet Aaron Junior ~ Pittsburgh, PA

Monday, May 10th, 2010

My good friends Aaron and Carla had a baby boy they named Aaron Junior. I was lucky enough to meet him just a day out of the hospital on my way through Pittsburgh a few weeks ago.

Farewell to my partner Chase, whom I could not possibly love more.

Monday, March 15th, 2010

Chase was found on the streets of Denver, starving, with wire around her neck. She found me single, in a studio apartment putting myself through art school. The timing was perfect.

It’s simply not possible to sum up her life or the relationship we had in words and since she hated my camera that makes it hard too. One thing that was certain is that she was always there with me. We never left one another’s side. She even came to many of my college classes back in the day.

She was there during my photo assignments in school.

She was there on all the road trips back home to NY,

she was a social butterfly at parties,

when I received the call that my father had passed away,

she was even in the last photo ever taken of my father.

She came to work with me when I was a painter everyday for 2 years after college,

when I moved to Seattle, when I got my first photo job in Vail.

She was only feet from me when I met the love of my life Lindsay,

and she was right there when I asked Lindsay to be my wife.

For the last few years Chase could not move so well and eight months ago lost one of her legs to cancer, she would spend her days lying in my office, as I would edit. Sometimes right under my feet.

Her absence is noticed every step I take.
