They both have a strong artistic side to them. Emily works with hair and Brent is a musician at heart. Their wedding day was filled with family whom obviously love them very, very much. Kristi and Jeff had a small, quiet wedding of 19 people at the Cordillera Lodge and Spa here in the Vail Valley. The day started out clear and sunny, but things soon turned stormy up at the lodge. Despite the weather, they decided to continue with the outside wedding anyway. Love it! About ten minutes into the ceremony the light sprinkle turned into a rather hard rain. Luckily, Kristi and Jeff never stopped smiling and the weather cleared for our portrait session later.

The hotel looks at “old mans break” a popular surf spot for all surfers. This served us well as I can’t sit still for longer than five minutes and Lindsay could lie on the beach for the rest of her life. And it figures she is the better surfer.

During the evening we would take short walks in the calm little city of San Jose Del Cabo. Kids, families, dogs were everywhere and I loved that about the town.

I must save the best for last……to my lover, my very best friend, and now my wife Lindsay…..she is always doing something to make me smile.

Shannon and James brought an amazing group of people with them to Negril, Jamaica to help celebrate their wedding day. I was able to hang out with them for a few days, photographing their engagement session and rehearsal cruise the day before the wedding. However, I wanted to stay focused on their wedding day for this post, as it was a day to remember-ending with run-ins with jellyfish and james losing his wedding ring! You two are wonderful!!!
