I have been catching up on my blogging after being gone for the last three weeks for my own wedding in Wisconsin.

Kristi and Jeff had a small, quiet wedding of 19 people at the Cordillera Lodge and Spa here in the Vail Valley. The day started out clear and sunny, but things soon turned stormy up at the lodge. Despite the weather, they decided to continue with the outside wedding anyway. Love it! About ten minutes into the ceremony the light sprinkle turned into a rather hard rain. Luckily, Kristi and Jeff never stopped smiling and the weather cleared for our portrait session later.

The rehearsal dinner was at ETown, the ceremony at the Beaver Creek Chapel, and the reception took place at the one and only Timber Hearth Grill in Cordillera.

Kelly and Justin are an amazing couple and it was a pleasure to document their wedding with my boy Preston.

They let me into their lives for an hour in a half. After a three-minute ceremony on the deck of the Cordillera Lodge, Claudia, Kevin and I set out for a few portraits.
