Shane Macomber

I’m a photographer with a true passion and love for the art of photography and using it to tell the real story. I'm a passionate person who is head over heals in love with photography, my fiance, my dogs, and a good cup of coffee in the morning.
I graduated at the top of my class from the Art Institute of Colorado and began my career at the Vail Daily Newspaper as a photojournalist. There, I had the privilege of covering events like the XGames; as well as news stories like the Hurricane Katrina aftermath. My images have been published in newspapers across the country, like the New York Times and USA Today.
Now, as a wedding photojournalist, I strive to capture every emotion of every wedding day in an artistic manner. It’s my goal to collect a series of images that you will instantly connect with and that will be timeless in your family history. I hope that they will be enjoyed by generations to come. Like I said earlier, it’s the little things; it’s the look a bride will give after putting on her wedding dress because the day has finally come, or the father who rarely cries but today just can’t hold it together, it’s everyone you love and value coming together to witness your commitment to one another, especially it’s about the endless moments, glances, gestures, and touches between a bride and groom.
