Now that I’m a Seattle wedding photographer, I’ve been extremely anxious for my first engagement shoot here in the city. I seriously think I could self-combust there is so much to work with, not to mention the incredibly soft, natural light. Here, nature meets urban life with such harmony; it’s truly a sight to see. Arched bridges branch out of the trees in Ravenna Park and Lake Union gently rests against the downtown cityscape.

Lauren, Bryan and I had a blast running around the city getting to know each other.  These two were a pleasure to photograph. I honestly don’t think I could have started my career here in Seattle with a better couple.

Bryan had to stop at Dick’s for their favorite burger and fries.

Whooooaaa! Incredible images Shane. Seattle is treatin’ you and your vision right.
Cheers!

Shane – I love your work period…but these pictures – phenominal. I’m sure you have raised the bar for Seattle wedding photography!

Marsha (Bryan's Mom)

I love the pictures! Shane, you did a fabulous job, you captured everything that makes a photo great. Of course, Lauren and Bryan are beautiful subjects, hard to go wrong!!

These are ridiculously good. The first one is my fav. You are so talented, Shane!!! When I was looking through photography choices, I asked a bridesmaid to review your work (against another photog I was considering). She’s dabbled in a little amateur photography, so in my world, she was the best possible friend to ask. I thought you’d enjoy her email back to me: “Ok. I am in love with shane macomber’s work. His photos are stunning and I love the emotion he creates. Every. Single. One. Very creative and just amazing technically. I found myself looking at every single archive of his blog…as I was that impressed and amazed by his talent.” BTW, you might have a bridesmaid following you around my wedding looking for photog tips. apologies in advance. 😉 Look out Seattle. Shane is taking over.

Amazing! Nice work – Lauren + Bryan look incredible!

Shaner…the light is majestic and you made the most of it. Really beautiful my friend. I also am in love with the 1st one and the one 2nd from the bottom. 🙂

Absolutely LOVE the photos you two …. my vote goes to the Dick’s shot, as well as the one that I leave is in Fremont (where Bryan is picking Lauren up) … just my opinions! Beautiful couple though! Love you both!

so freaking beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Selina! We’ll see ya later this week in Vail!

ps… my favorite is the one of them on the hill with all the people shadowed out! The sky is unbelievable!

Thank you so much for your comment Kallie!
