I met Dee Dee and Brian while walking my dogs in the woods above my house in Eagle-Vail. We had such a good conversation. I gave them my card and invited them to give me a ring sometime. Dee Dee and Brian are two of the most naturally creative people I know. Brian has done everything from sewing quilts to making furniture. They made rustic wood signs for their wedding and added many personal touches. It’s been so fun working with Dee Dee, who has such an appreciation for photography and art in general. I regularly get emails with links to other artists she enjoys.

I really enjoyed a long “getting ready” session with Dee Dee, portraits during sunset, and a fun-loving crowd during the reception. I have been looking forward to their wedding for some time now, and it lived up to all my high hopes!

Dee Dee and Brian, it was a true pleasure to document your wedding day. I know you two will live a long and loving life up here in the mountains.

Preston’s Shot

You & Preston just ROCK!! Awesome pictures!!

i agree with preston, the last shot is my favorite. the tone of the photo and the choice of black and white really works together…there is a lot there but not too much. its really beautiful.

These are the best wedding pictures I have ever seen.

Great work Shane I really think this is going to go down as one of your best weddings this summer. That last shot and the ceremony shot of them kissing is great.
