These two Vail locals chose to have a very unique, quiet, and quick Beaver Creek wedding at the top of the mountain. The ceremony site was handpicked by them the day before. They invited family members only and wanted the ceremony to be less than five minutes, which it was. I have photographed a lot of Colorado weddings before, but never one that offered the intimacy that Nicky’s and Randy’s did. It reminded me how much I love what I do. It’s amazing how every couple and every wedding day is so different.

After the chairlift ride down they met 150 of their close friends for their reception at Beanos Cabin, a remote restaurant located on the backside of Beaver Creek. It was a fun mix of sunshine, badminton, sandbags, mingling, music, and even a five minute rain shower.

Here are a few images from their wedding.
